Emerald Energy Centre for Petroleum Economics, Policy and Strategic studies in the Institute of Petroleum Studies, is sponsored by the Emerald Energy Resources Limited, with Dr. Emmanuel Egbogah, OON, the presidential Adviser on Petroleum and former Executive Chairman of Emerald as the main benefactor. The centre is also supported by the Emmanuel Egbogah Chair in petroleum Engineering. The centre is structured along two broad categories:

• The Advisory Committee (Chaired by Prof. Emmanuel Egbogah)
• The Academic Committee (Chaired by the Centre Director)
